Vintage fashion is a big part of the green lifestyle.  Everything can gain a new breath of life, whether it remains in its amazing old condition or is remade into something fresh.  Not only is it a good idea to recycle your old fashion items because the economy is not in your favor, but it also environmentally friendly.  Imagine all the old clothing and jewelry you have, the consumerist in you will tell you to simply throw them out and buy everything new.  Those things can be reused and remade, if not by you by someone else who will consider them a treasure.  This is the frame of mind I am in this week and will remain there until all my old/new things have been given a second and third chance.  As the creator and pioneer of costume jewelry, what would Coco Chanel do? Vintage has never looked so good.  Photos from Coco Chanel’s apartment and vintage jewelry for your inspiration
