My Vacation

I was given an unexpected gift from my boyfriend, a breezy vacation to San Diego. He was there for work and would I go meet him afterwards to spend a few days?  Of course I would, these days the weather in New York is not getting any warmer.  I have been to San Diego before, however I am ashamed to say I never explored the area. This trip was going to be different. Every day was full of activity and excitement of finding a different local beach spot to watch the sunset.

San Diego is known for their celebrated conservation work with animals.  The San Diego Zoo has a spectacular variety that is very up close and interactive for their visitors. I was not disappointed, however someone should have mentioned this place was going to be a hike.  Pack comfortable shoes and make sure to really see what you want. There is so much to see.  My absolute favorite was SeaWorld, it is not often you get to see a killer whale act as a cuddly pet with their trainers. The show was great and I cannot even believe the work the trainers do with these amazing animals. It really makes you think twice about what is important.  Saving the life on our planet should be priority.

Overall I had an amazing time and would definitely visit again to change up the pace from the hectic New York life. Back to work!
