Dolores Gangotenam De Diez, Founder & Public Relations, Expedition in
Galapagos Islands 

Dolores Gangotena is co-founder of Quasar Expeditions, the pioneer in luxury small-yacht cruising in the Galapagos Islands and also the second oldest company in the archipelago.   Now on her 35th year in the business, Dolores is currently the company’s Director of Public Relations and is responsible for managing relationships with Tour Operators, Travel Agencies, Government Institutions, NGO’s, Natural Park authorities and the company’s Naturalists guides.  Her mission today is to enhance the company’s presence and  commitment in the preservation of South America’s National Parks, as well as guiding the company in various social and environmental initiatives, including the Galapagos Scouts program, the Charles Darwin Foundation and more.  During her free time, Dolores enjoys doing Zumba, going on nature walks, bird-watching, scuba diving, snorkeling, and lots of reading.
