Fortify yourself with stress-busting supplements this season—and make time for something that you enjoy
For all the joy the holidays bring, they can be stressful for even the most Zen-like among us. Healthy strategies for restoring calm abound, but what we normally do to alleviate stress is often the first thing to get knocked off the to-do list amid the holiday hustle and bustle, says Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa Nutritionist Junelle Lupiani, R.D.
“Make time to treat yourself to whatever it is that calms you down,” Lupiani suggests. “If you know that going for a daily run is your best defense against stress, put it on top of your to-do list for the day and make space for it.” She also recommends the following natural stress-busting supplements, available in both food and supplement forms, to keep stress in check.
